8 Highlights of the Swiss Gymnastics Festival in Lausanne
- More than 2,300 gymnastics clubs will compete in 22 disciplines.
- The competitions will take place at around 30 locations in Lausanne.
- 140 competitions will be assessed by 4,000 judges.
- Over 4,000 volunteers will support the gymnasts.
- Approximately 300,000 spectators are expected.
- Daily competitions from 7 AM to 9 PM over seven days of competitions.
- Entry to the competitions is free.
- The 77th Swiss Gymnastics Festival will take place in 2025.
Event Locations of the Swiss Gymnastics Festival in Lausanne
The events are spread across three main areas.
Quartier Ville
The Quartier Ville stretches from the Esplanade de Montbenon to the Olympic Stadium Pontaise along a north-south axis.
- Opening Ceremony: On Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 1:30 PM, the opening show will take place on the Esplanade de Montbenon. It will feature a gymnastics group and five performances representing the three main language regions of Switzerland.
- Parade: On Saturday, June 21, 2025, starting at 2 PM, about 5,000 athletes and guests will march through the streets of Lausanne, from the Esplanade de Montbenon to the Place de la Navigation in Ouchy, where the festivities take place.
Quartier Lac
This area extends from Vidy to Chavannes-près-Renens along an east-west axis.

- Show Lausanne 2025: On Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21, 2025, a major gymnastics show will take place at the Vaudoise Arena. It will feature 15 of the best gymnastics groups from Switzerland, along with three international groups and one inclusive gymnastics group.
- Closing Ceremony: On Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 10:15 AM, the closing celebration of the 77th Swiss Gymnastics Festival will be held at the Stade de la Tuilière. Groups from all over Switzerland, along with a performance featuring over 340 gymnasts, will contribute to this ceremony, including around 30 people with disabilities.
Prés-de-Vidy
A campsite for around 50,000 overnight stays will be set up at Prés-de-Vidy.
8 Highlights of the Swiss Gymnastics Festival in Lausanne
- More than 2,300 gymnastics clubs will compete in 22 disciplines.
- The competitions will take place at around 30 locations in Lausanne.
- 140 competitions will be assessed by 4,000 judges.
- Over 4,000 volunteers will support the gymnasts.
- Approximately 300,000 spectators are expected.

Event Locations of the Swiss Gymnastics Festival in Lausanne
The events are spread across three main areas.
Quartier Ville
The Quartier Ville stretches from the Esplanade de Montbenon to the Olympic Stadium Pontaise along a north-south axis.
- Opening Ceremony: On Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 1:30 PM, the opening show will take place on the Esplanade de Montbenon. It will feature a gymnastics group and five performances representing the three main language regions of Switzerland.
- Parade: On Saturday, June 21, 2025, starting at 2 PM, about 5,000 athletes and guests will march through the streets of Lausanne, from the Esplanade de Montbenon to the Place de la Navigation in Ouchy, where the festivities take place.
Quartier Lac
This area extends from Vidy to Chavannes-près-Renens along an east-west axis.
