About Winterthurer Weihnachtsmarkt
Around 60 decorated wooden huts stand on Neumarkt, and around 80% of them sell Christmas decorations, candles, crafts, textiles or scents, the rest food and mulled wine. Children visit the Märliwald with its animated fairy tales, and the Christmas stage has a free programme every day.
What to expect
- Chlauseinzug (St Nicholas procession) on Sunday 29 November at 16:16 from the Obertor to the Königshof
- «Dä zauberhafti Märliwald» (the enchanting fairy-tale forest) with animated fairy tales, free admission
- Free programme that changes daily on the Christmas stage and in the Märliwald
